The present invention relates to a pillow with a pillow filling accommodated in a pillow case according to the preamble of protection claim 1.
Pillows serve as a base for the head of a lying person and are intended to enable a head position that is perceived by the person as pleasant and is slightly angled upwards, and in particular to ensure a comfortable sleep. In this context, very different requirements are placed on a pillow, whereby the pillow should not only enable the head to be positioned as comfortably as possible, but should also contribute to providing a "bed climate" that is not only influenced by the room climate. The moisture-absorbing properties of a pillow have proven to be particularly important, since the "moisture load" of a pillow is influenced by the transpiration that occurs above the head of the person lying, in addition to the moisture content of the room air.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a pillow that not only enables increased comfort, but also contributes to an improvement in the "bed climate".
To solve this problem, the pillow according to the invention has the features of claim 1.
According to the invention, the pillow filling has at least two different filling components, such that the pillow filling has seaweed, hemp or horsehair or a combination of at least two of the above-mentioned materials in addition to a first filling component made of latex as a second filling component.

With the combination of latex according to the invention as a first filling component and a second filling component formed from natural fibers or hair, elastic latex is made possible on the one hand by the latex, which counteracts permanent, not only elastic compression of the pillow filling, and secondly due to the moisture-absorbing second filling component enables a positive influence on the bed climate.

For this purpose, the filling components can be arranged particularly advantageously in a zone distribution, with an at least partially different mixing ratio in the respective zones.
If the first filling component in a central core zone of the pillow filling has a larger volume fraction in relation to the second filling component, and in a surrounding zone surrounding the central core zone the second filling component has a larger volume fraction in relation to the first filling component, it becomes possible in In the area of the increased elastic core of the pillow filling to form a “moisture store” without there being direct contact with the head of the person using the pillow, the latex material in the surrounding zone, in addition to the elastic cushioning effect, also having an insulating effect against the moisture content of the core.
